Students shall comply with "Student Responsibilities and Rights" published by Fairfax County Public Schools during ECS schoolhours and activities.
Students shall attend classes on time, and shall not leave school without permission. Students who have been tardy or early dismissed for more than 15 minutes will not be considered for perfect attendance award.
Students must obtain permissions in advance for absence.School will expel the student without any tuition refund if the student has been absent and failed to notify school/teacher for 10 times and up.
Students shall respect the rights and authority of teachers, teachers’ assistants, school volunteers, and other students. Any disruptive behavior to classroom order and education process, loud noise, and horseplay are not permitted. Behaviors such as running, chasing, climbing walls, jumping on desks, chairs and lockers are not allowed.
No hitting, harming, or fighting with other students. Do not touch others in an unpleasant manner.
Students shall help maintain the campus in a clean and orderly manner. No littering.
Students shall show respects to school properties. Do not remove or use any non-ECS properties in the classrooms. Graffiti and any forms of damages are prohibited. Violators shall be responsible for repairs and/or replacement of the damages.
Students are responsible for personal belongings. Games, toys, cell phones,and personal entertainment electronic devices are not allowed in classrooms. Do not bring valuables or dangerous items such as weapons or medicine to school. School reserves the rights to hold the above items during school hours.Only parents can pick up the items in the office after the class.
No food or drinks in classroom.
School will notify the parents of any student who fails to comply with the Rules of Conduct at the first time. For asecond violation, school will require parents to assist in disciplining the student and maintaining order. For a thirdviolation, school will expel the student without any tuition refund.
