General:
  • ECS Issued Check Validation Period: All ECS outgoing checks will be void after 180 days (6 months). If a new replacement check is requested after 180 days issued, the requester is responsible for the administration fees of $25 that will go to ECS donation fund. We try to eliminate as much labor efforts as possible. It is your responsibility to secure and deposit the check(s) received from ECS ASAP.
  • Stop Check Fees: If an ECS outgoing check is lost after issued, and to be "stop" from bank system, the check recipient is responsible for the bank standard stop fee of $35. The fee will be subject to change per bank of ECS. A standard stop period is 180 days.
  • Deposit Check Returned Fees: If an incoming check is returned by the bank account of ECS, the check issuer will be responsible for an additional $35 fee to ECS either by issuing another check or pay cash with no later than two-weeks notice. All additional and related cost to this returned check is the responsibility of check issuer.
  • Payment Period: All ECS activity or event related incoming funding, disbursement requests, balance, and/or questions shall be submitted to Finance no later than one month after the related activity or event is closed.
  • Signatory Requirement: A signature of receiving ECS outgoing check/cash is mandatory required. All the claimed check/cash will be available for pick up at the Finance desk on the 3rd week of school day after the proper submission process; please refer to the Disbursement Request Form about the submission details. If the volunteer other than the recipients is kindy want to distribute the check/cash, you will need to provide your signature; and please be advised it is your responsibility to delivery these checks/cash to the designated recipients as per stated in the Disbursement Request Form.
  • Academic Registration:
    • Parent returned checks: A $35.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks. Refer to above General item 3.
    • Refund Policy:
      • Registration Fee, New Student Fee, and Late Fee are non-refundable.
      • A Refund Request Form must be submitted in order to apply for withdrawal/refunds.
      • Tuition will be fully refunded if request is made before school starts. 75% of school year tuition for withdrawal made within the first 4 classes. None after 4 classes for that scholl year.
      • In the event that no class is available for the late registered student, a refund including the registration fee and tuition will be issued.
Extra-curricular Class Registration:
  • Parent returned checks: A $35.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks. Refer to above General item 3.
  • Refund Policy:
    • Registration Fee and Late Fee are non-refundable.
    • A Refund Request Form must be submitted in order to apply for withdrawal/refunds.
    • Class fee will be fully refunded if request is made before the first class starts. 75% for withdrawal made before the second class has started. None after the second class has started.
    • In the event that a class is cancelled after it has started, refund will be pro-rated.

Please note ECS has right to adjust all above rules and regulation based upon school operation needs. The updated rules and regulation will be posted in school web site for reference.
