The biggest and most lively fall party fundraising event of the year will be held on October 26. The fall party is jointly organized by the parents of school students every year. From fundraising, organization, food preparation, to on-site charity sales, all details are handled by the parents of the school. They work together to complete this event. The parents bring out their ancestral secret recipes, and the authentic cooking skills are not inferior to those of ordinary restaurants, which also makes teachers and students praise the food. Taiwan’s food culture extends to the greater Washington area. So please prepare to show your superb cooking skills.

How to join the ranks

The event is just around the corner and we still need your involvement…

  • Food Donation
  • Second hand goods charity sale
    • Not good at cooking? It doesn’t matter. Donate items and equipment that you don’t need at home but can still be used to the school and help with the charity sale.
    • If you are interested, please register with your room parent or email the fundraising team.
  • Lead game activities
    • Not good at cooking? No problem, come up with a fun game or activity to have fun with the kids.
    • Interested parties please contact the fundraising team to register.
  • Other Activities Volunteers
    The Fall Festival Event coordination requires a lot of help from parent volunteers. Please email the fundraising team to sign up to volunteer. Relevant volunteer positions are as follows:
    • Venue layout personnel: Recruiting a team leader (A)* and three volunteers. Please check in before 1:00pm and complete the layout before 2:00pm.
    • Game area service staff registration: Recruiting a team leader (B)* plus four to eight volunteers. Check in before 2:00pm and complete the game park layout before 3:00pm.
    • Site Cleanup Crew: Recruiting three to six volunteers. Check in before 5:00pm. Complete site cleanup by 5:30pm.
    • * Team leaders (A) & (B) need help cleaning up the venue from 5:30-5:50pm, and there will be two service points.
