划龍舟競賽 Dragon Boat Racing

實驗中文龍舟戰士們再度在波多馬克河上發光與發熱！青少年龍舟隊以優異的身手在眾強勁對手環伺之下脫穎而出，榮獲五百公尺競賽第一名！成年龍舟隊也同時奪得多項大獎！

青少年隊比賽成果

• 青少年杯五百公尺挑戰賽：金牌獎
• 青少年杯兩百五十公尺挑戰賽：銅牌獎

成人隊比賽成果

• 教育杯挑戰賽：優勝獎（進級至華府杯挑戰賽）
• 華府杯挑戰賽：銅牌獎

我們感謝所有熱情參與的家長和青少年們，還有協助組織訓練拍照的義工家長們。

華府地區划龍舟競賽將於五月十八日和十九日在波多馬克河上舉行，實力不可小睨的實驗中文學校將如往年般組隊參加。比賽前將有三次在週末實際操作練習的機會，每個參賽選手至少要實際上船練習一次。

ECS Youth brings home gold, silver and bronze this year!

On the first day, Saturday, The youth team earned their first medal by placing 3rd among 5 teams in the Youth Cup Challenge. They followed up with winning 2nd place in 250M Division C Major finals.

On the second day, Sunday, the youth team brings home the gold in the 500M Division C Majors! Leading the team are Jonathan Ting and Jamie Kao along with drummer, Samuel Ting.

The adult team won the the Educational Cup Challenge on Saturday with a time that places them for the first time-into Division A Category and earning a place in the DC Cup Challenge on Sunday where they brought home Bronze in a 6 boat race featuring the best in all of the Challenge Cup categories.

Special thanks goes out to Fayland Ng and Bruce Ting for coaching and Amy Kwok for organizing lunch for the weekend.

The Washington DC Dragon Boat Festival will be held along the Potomac River on 5/18-5/19. ECS will form one or two teams to participate. There will be practices on the Potomac river during the weekends. Each participant has to practice at least once in order to qualify.
